Historical Data

Historical Data Manager is the local data workspace behind Replayva. Dataset availability, provider access, symbols, timeframes, and coverage depend on the data and configured provider workflow.

Use Historical Data Manager

  • Dataset Browser: search, filter, inspect, register, update, verify, or delete datasets
  • Provider Manager: review provider status, capabilities, and authentication
  • Downloads and Imports: monitor acquisition and compatible local-data ingestion
  • Verification, Repair, Statistics, and Diagnostics: inspect quality and troubleshoot data

Download a dataset

  1. Select or register a symbol in Dataset Browser.
  2. Choose Download or Update and select an available provider.
  3. Review dataset type, timeframe, date range, size estimate, and download plan.
  4. Monitor Downloads, then verify the completed dataset before replay.

Import local data

The current workflow supports CSV files and folders containing detectable supported files. Review format detection, delimiter, encoding, timestamp handling, field mapping, and validation before committing the import.

Note

ZIP import and automatic repair execution are not currently available. Do not edit catalog or dataset files by hand.

Provider boundaries

Dukascopy is the principal implemented public Forex provider. Zerodha Kite Connect requires an appropriate account and credentials for supported Indian workflows. Yahoo Finance is marked experimental. Availability and third-party service behaviour are not guaranteed.
